Dan was born in Kansas back in the late 70's.  He grew up mainly in Topeka, KS, and graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1996.  He graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio in December 1999 with a B.A. in Philosophy.  He worked for several years and got a M.A. in philosophy from Texas Tech in 2006.

Anne was born in Dallas, TX, also in the late 70's, and lived in Garland, TX, until she graduated from Garland High School in 1998 and attended Trinity University.  She graduated from Trinity in May 2002 with a B.A. in History and got her M.D. from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 2006. She is now in the second year of her pediatrics residency at UTMB in Galveston. 

Dan and Anne got married in 2002 and are currently living south of Houston while Anne completes her residency. Dan is very happily working as a high school teacher enlightening the minds of America's youth in all things history and social studies.
